Products
Below are some common questions about our products
Why do stamped results sometimes look slightly different each time?
Because this is a hand-pressed, multi-color art process, not digital printing.
Each artwork is created by pressing the stamp manually, and the final result can be influenced by:
- The pressure applied
- The paper thickness and texture
- The alignment during pressing
Our full-color stamp uses a four-color layered design, which requires pressing in sequence.
This means slight variations can naturally occur — similar to traditional printmaking or block printing.
👉 These variations are part of the handmade process, and many customers appreciate them as signs of authenticity rather than flaws.
Are the stamped artworks considered original?
Yes — each stamped piece is physically created by you, one press at a time.
While the stamp design is fixed, every stamped print is a physical original, not a digital copy.
Many artists treat them as:
- Signed mini prints
- Small-batch art editions
- Collectible handmade pieces
Why does the color look uneven in the first few stamps?
This is completely normal.
Because this is a multi-color stamp, the ink may not appear perfectly even during the first few impressions.
Before shipping, we carefully pre-adjust each stamp to ensure proper ink flow.
As you continue stamping, the ink naturally distributes more evenly —
the more you use it, the better and richer the colors will look.
Think of it as a “break-in” process, just like fine art tools.
What is the best way to start stamping?
We recommend starting with the black layer first.
Black ink creates the base structure of the artwork and helps guide the remaining colors into place.
Once the black layer is stamped, the following colors will align more smoothly and produce a cleaner final result.
Will every stamp look exactly the same?
Because each piece is hand-pressed, slight variations in pressure, paper texture, and ink absorption are normal.
These small differences are part of what makes each print unique and artistic, rather than mass-produced.
What can I use these stamps for?
Our customers commonly use them to:
- Create mini art prints on cardstock
- Frame stamped artwork as desk decor
- Make limited edition stamped pieces
- Gift small art prints to friends
- Sell stamped artworks as original creations
Each stamped piece feels intentional, physical, and collectible.
How does the custom stamp work?
It’s very simple:
- Upload your artwork on the product page
- Place your order
- We craft your custom full-color stamp and ship it to you
Once you receive it, you can start stamping instantly.
What paper should I use for the best results?
For best results, we recommend:
- Thick cardstock (200–300gsm)
- Art paper with slight texture
- Matte paper surfaces
We also offer JoyStmp cardstock sheets, designed specifically for clean, vibrant stamping.
Will the ink run out? What happens then?
No worries — the stamp is re-inkable.
Just like a traditional stamp:
- You can add stamp ink when needed
- One refill lasts a long time
- Works with standard stamp inks
You don’t need to replace the stamp when ink runs low.
How long does the stamp last?
With normal use and proper care:
- The stamp can be used thousands of times
- Colors remain vibrant
- The surface is designed for long-term durability
It’s made to be used, not displayed once and forgotten.
Is this a good gift?
Yes — many customers buy these as:
- Creative gifts
- Artist gifts
- Desk or studio accessories
It’s something unexpected, tactile, and personal, even without customization.
I’m not an artist — is this still for me?
Absolutely.
You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy stamping art.
